ORDINANCE NO.2 -76
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 17.16,17.20,
17.24,17.22,17.32,17.36,17.40,17.44 AND
17.48 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARK,COLORADO,RELATING TO THE PERMIS
SION OF NURSING HOMES,CARILLONS AND ELECTRONIC
INTRUMENTS IMITATING A CARILLON,BY SPECIAL
REVIEW IN ALL ZONING DISTRICTS EXCEPT DR DEVEL
OPING RESOURCE DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.Section 17.16.020 of the Municipal Code of
the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following:
9.Uses permitted by special review:Nursing homes,
carillons and electronic instruments imitating a carillon.
Section 2.Section 17.20.020 9 of the Municipal Code
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby amended by add
ing thereto the following:
nursing homes,carillons and electronic instru
ments imitating a carillon.
Section 3.Section 17.24.020 6 of the Municipal Code
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby amended by add
ing thereto the following:
nursing homes,carillons and electronic instruments
imitating a carillon.
Section 4.Section 17.28.020 of the Municipal Code of
the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following:

Section 5.Section 17.32.020 3 of the Municipal Code
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby amended by add
ing thereto the following:

Section 6.Section 17.36.020 4 of the Municipal Code
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby amdned by add
ing thereto the following:

Section 7.Section 17.40.020 of the Municipal Code
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby amended by
adding thereto the following:
9.Uses permitted by special review:Nursing homes,
carillons and electronic instruments imitating a carillon.
Section 8.Section 17.44.010 of the Municipal Code
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby amended to read
as follows:
17.44.010 Requirements generally.All of the provi
sions of chapter 17.40,E-l estate district,shall be the same
for the E-2 estate district,except the provisions for Lot area
per family and Boundaries.
Section 9.Section 17.48.020 4 of the Municipal Code
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby amended by add
ing thereto the following:
nursing homes,carillons and electronic instruments
imitating a carillon.
Section 10.The board of trustees of the town of Estes
Park,Colorado,herewith finds,determines and designates that
this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace,health and safety,for zoning uses affect
the public peace,health and safety;and whereas,in the opin
ion of the board of trustees,an emergency exists,this ordi
nance shall take effect and be in force after its final passage,
adoption and the approval and signature of the mayor.
