ORDINANCE NO.1 -76
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17.56 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO,RELATING TO PROCEDURES FOR SPECIAL
REVIEW APPLICATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.Chapter 17.56 of the Municipal Code of
the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following:
17.56.090 Attorney’s letter of certification.Be
fore the planning commission or board of trustees will con
sider any special review application for final approval,
there must be filed,with such commission and board,a letter
certifying that all of the persons or corporations having any
record interest in the real property described in such appli
cation,and the site plan pertaining thereto,have signed
the same.Such letters must be signed on the day the plan
ning commission and board of trustees will consider the ap
plication and site plan for final approval.Such letters
must be signed by an attorney duly licensed to practice law
in the state of Colorado.
Section 2.The board of trustees of the town of
Estes Park,Colorado,herewith finds,determines and desig
nates that this ordinance is necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace,health and safety,for
special review procedures affect the public peace,health
and safety;and whereas,in the opinion of the board of trus
tees,an emergency exists,this ordinance shall take effect
and be in force after its final passage,adoption and the
approval and signature of the mayor.
