Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the 13th _day of August , A. D. 1942 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor _ Clarence A. Graves Present: MayorClarence A. Graves Trustees: Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, John Ramey, Carl Swanson Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk Absent: Richard Snart Minutes of the regular meeting held on July 23rd and the special meeting held on August 3rd read and approved as read. Trustee Ramey moved that the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same: (A certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.) Trustee Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. Mr. William Preston representing the firm of Miner and Miner, Consulting Engineers for the Town of Estes Park, together with Mr. Leon H. Sweetland, Superintendent of Light and Power, appeared before the Board. In accordance with previous action of the Board, Mayor Graves announced that the Board would proceed to consider bids for the construction of the new Light and Power Sub -station. The Clerk stated that two bids had been filed and was instructed to open and read the two bids. The bid of R. A. Waffensmith and Company of Lonyw,nt, Colorado was opened and read in the amount of $202,261.18, the same being a gross amount including labor and materials. The bid of Reynold's Electrical Company of Denver was opened and read in the amount of $199,090.20, the same being a gross amount including labor and materials. The Board delivered the bids to Mr. William Preston to be analyzed and a recommendation to be nude to,the, Board. Mr. Louis Canaiy and Mr. Ned Linegar representing the Estes Park Chamber of Commerce appeared before the Board submitting a copy of a sign ordinance and ask that the Board consider the same for adoption.The committee also presented a written proposal submitted by the Airport Committee of the Chamber of Commerce as * t the Town to consider acquiring ground for a proposed airport. Mayor Graves asked that Trustee Ramey try and present letters of intent from the property owners involved. The Clerk submitted the annual audit of the Water Department for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1962 as prepared by Mr. Edward Holmes of Denver, Colorado. The Board read and discussed the audit in full. Trustee Dannels moved that the audit be accepted. Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. Trustee Dannels reported on the regular meeting of the Water Committee as itemized in their minutes of August 6, 1962 and moved that the report be accepted or adopted. Trustee Brodie seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. Mayor Graves appointed a committee consisting of William Grove, John Ramey, and Charles Herzog to work with the Chamber of Commerce regarding the possibility of mail delivery within the Town. &Lb=idEstrs Vark, Larimer County, Colorado, August 13 , 19 62 Minutes of a _ Re_gslar _ meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting called to order by Mayor. __ Present: Mayor Trustees: Also Present: Absent: A, D. 19 at regular Mayor Graves presented a plat of a road known as Cyteworth Lane and reported that the property owners using said road have requested that the Town accept the road as a public street. The plat was turned over to Trustee Ramey, Chairman of the Street Committee to determine if the plat was feasible and if so upon what terms and conditions.
