00RESOLUTION#27-14ENDORSINGLARIMERCOUNTY’SBALLOTISSUEIATOCONTINUEPROTECTINGNATURALAREAS,OPENSPACES,RIVERSANDWILDLILFEHABITATWHEREAS,TheLarimerCountyBoardofCommissionershaveunanimouslyreferredBallotIssue1AContinueProtectingOurNaturalAreas,OpenSpaces,RiversandWildlifeHabitattothetoevotersofLarimerCountyintheelectiononNovember42014,2014and;WHEREAS,theLarimerCountyOpenSpacefundshavebeeninstrumentalinprotectingopenspaceandcreatingtrailsintheEstesValleyand;WHEREAS,theEstesValleyTrailsAdvisoryCommitteeandtheBoardoftheEstesValleyRecreationandParkDistricthaveendorsedthecontinuedtaxand;WHEREAS,thisisacontinuationofanexistingtaxandwillnotincreasethetaxburdenonresidentsandguestsinEstesPark;WHEREAS,aportionoftheOpenSpacetaxissharedbackwiththeTownofEstesParkthatcanbeusedforTownprioritiesforprotectingopenspaceandbuildingtrails.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADOsupportandendorseBallotIssueJAContinueProtectingOurNaturalAreas,OpenSpaces,RiversandWildlifeHabitat.DATEDthistgdayofATTEST:ynClerk2014.)r
