RESOLUTION 29-89
WHEREAS,the Town of Estes Park has entered into a confer
ence center lease purchase agreement with the Estes Park Urban
Renewal Authority for the acquisition,construction,and mainte
nance of a conference center;and
WHEREAS,pursuant to the terms and provisions of said lease,
the Town of Estes Park will realize revenue in the total amount
of $2,500,175 within the 1989 budget year;and
WHEREAS,this contingency could not have been reasonably
foreseen at the time of the adoption of the 1989 Budget;and
WHEREAS,the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado,has determined that it is necessary to establish the
conference center fund,and deems it necessary to appropriate
funds for the 1989 budget year into said fund.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of
the Town of Estes Park,Colorado:
1.The Town of Estes Park hereby establishes the Conference
Center Fund.
2.The Town of Estes Park hereby appropriates into the
Conference Center Fund the amount of $2,500,175.
3.The source of funding for the above appropriation into
the Conference Center Fund is revenues provided to the Town of
Estes Park pursuant to the terms of the Conference Center Lease
Purchase Agreement between the Town of Estes Park and the Estes
Park Urban Renewal Authority,dated as of November 15,1989.
