RESOLUTION 2-90
WHEREAS,the Town of Estes Park (Town)owns an 18-hole
Municipal Golf Course which is subject to a lease with the Estes
Valley Recreation and Park District (District);and
WHEREAS,the Town is contemplating leasing the golf course
property,including all improvements thereon,to the Estes Park
Building Authority for the purpose of enabling the Building
Authority to issue Certificates of Participation for the financ
ing of certain improvements to the golf course property;and
WHEREAS,the Town and the District desire to enter into an
Operating Agreement which sets forth the terms and provisions of
the operation and maintenance of the golf course,including the
proposed construction of the improvements to the golf course
property;and
WHEREAS,it is necessary to approve the execution of the
Operating Operating and termination of the present Lease between
the Town and the District.
NOW,THEPEFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of
the Town of Estes Park,Colorado:
1.The Town of Estes Park hereby approves the Operating
Agreement in the form of said Agreement presented at this meeting
of the Board.
2.The Town of Estes Park hereby approves,concurrent with
the execution of the Operating Agreement,the termination of the
Lease dated June 1,1957,between the Estes Park Golf and Country
Club and the the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Recreation District,
including the Addendum to the Lease dated March 13,1985 between
the Town and the District.
