ORDINANCE NO.26-82
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARE,COLORADO,THE SAME
PERTAINING TO REVENUE AND FINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That Section 3.08.190 of the Municipal
Code of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is amended to
read as follows:
3.08.190 Amendment by Board of Trustees.The board of
trustees may amend,alter or change this chapter,except as
to the rate of tax herein imposed,subsequent to adoption by
a majority vote of the board of trustees.Such amendment,
alteration or change need not be submitted to the electors
of the town for their approval.
Section 2.The Board of Trustees of the Town of
Estes Park,Colorado,herewith finds,determines and designates
that this Ordinance is necessary for their immediate preserva
tion of the public peace,health and safety,in order to
provide for uniform revenue and finance regulations;and
whereas,in the opinion of the Board of Trustees,an emergency
exits,this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately after its passage,adoption and signature of
the Mayor.
