AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 3.08.230
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO,AND AMENDING SECTION
3.08.240 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,THE SAME PERTAINING
TO REVENUE AND FINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That Section 3.08.230 of the Municipal
Code of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby repealed.
Section 2.That Section 3.08.240 of the Municipal
Code of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,shall be amended
to read as follows:
3.08.240 Vendor’s fee.Every licensee,herein called
“Vendor”,shall be liable and responsible for the payment
of all sales tax on all sales made by him of commodities
or services as provided in this Chapter,and shall remit
said amount,as provided in this Chapter,less three and one—
third percent of the sum so remitted as a vendor’s fee,to
cover his expense in collection and remittance of the tax.
Section 3.The Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes
Park,Colorado,herewith finds,determines and designates
that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preserva
tion of the public peace,health and safety,in order to
provide for revenue and finance regulations;and whereas,
in the opinion of the Board of Trustees,an emergency exists,
this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately
after its passage,adoption and signature of the Mayor.

I hereby certify that the above Ordinance was introduced
and read at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees on
the l3thday of April ,1992,and published in a news
paper of general circulation in the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado,on the l6thday of April ,1982,all as
required by the Statutes of the State of Colorado.
