ORDINANCE NO.13 —81
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF

ESTES PARK,COLORADO,THE SAME PERTAINING
TO THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE,1981
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARE,COLORADO:
Section 1.That Section 14.20.010 of the Municipal
Code of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is amended to
read as follows:
14.20.010 National Electrical Code,1981 -Adopted.The
1981 Edition of the National Electrical Code [NFPA 70—19811
adopted by the National Fire Protection Association on May 21,
1980,in Boston,Massachusetts,is enacted,adopted by reference
as a primary code and incorporated in this chapter as if set
out in length.
Section 2.The Board of Trustees of the Town of
Estes Park,Colorado,herewith finds,determines and designates
that this Ordinance is necessary for their immediate preserva
tion of the public peace,health and safety,in order to
provide for uniform electrical codes;and whereas,in the
opinion of the Board of Trustees,an emergency exists,this
ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately after
its passage,adoption and signature of the Mayor.
