ORDINANCE NO.5—85
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
-COLORADO,THE SANE PERTAINING TO ZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That Section 17.32 of the Municipal Code of the
Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is amended by adding thereto
17.32.050 to read as follows:
17.32.050.Minimum Lot Size.Every Lot used
as permitted by right in the R—2 Multiple Family
Residential District and included as a use by
right in this Zoning District under the provision
of Section 17.32.020 (1)shall have a minimum lot
area as required in Sections 17.24.050 or 17.68.090,
whichever Section is applicable.
Section 2.Section 17.36.050 of the Municipal Code of the
Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is amended hereto to read as
follows:
17.36.050.Minimum Lot Size.Every lot used as
permitted in the R—2 Zoning District shall have a
minimum lot area as required in Sections 17.24.050
or 17.68.090,whichever Section is applicable.
Section 3.The Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado,herewith finds,determines and designates that this
Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace,health and safety,in order to provide for uniform
zoning regulations;and whereas,in the opinion of the Board of
Trustees,an emergency exists,this Ordinance shall take effect
and be in force immediately after its passage,adoption and
signature of the Mayor.

read at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees on the 24th
day of January ,1984,and published in a newspaper of
general circulation in the Town of Estes Park,Colorado.
