AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE PLACEMENT
OF A PUBLIC PURPOSE SIGN
WHEREAS,a request has been made by the Pro-Hidden Valley
Group for the placement of a sign;and
WHEREAS,the Board of Trustees by this ordinance has
determined that said sign is for a public purpose;and
WHEREAS,Section 17.66.190 (b)(5)authorizes the placement
of said sign,therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That the sign requested by the Pro—Hidden Valley
Group is hereby authorized under the provisions of Section
17.66.190 (b)(5).Said sign is hereby authorized to be placed
within the public right of way in accordance with the plans and
specifications attached hereto as Exhibit “A”and incorporated
herein by reference.
Section 2.The Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado,herewith finds,determines and designates that this
ordinance is necessary for their immediate preservation of the
public peace,health and safety,to allow the sign to be placed
immediately,and whereas,in the opinion of the Board of
Trustees,an emergency exists,this Ordinance shall take effect
and be in force immediately after its passage,adoption and
signature of the Mayor.
