AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION
OF THE ARAPAHO MEADOWS ADDITION ANNEXATION TO
THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That on October 22,1985 the Board of Trustees
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado adopted Ordinance No.8—85
annexing certain real property known as ARAPAHO MEADOWS ADDITION
to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado.
Section 2.That following adoption of said Ordinance,it
was determined that the legal description of the property was in
error and that several minor changes were necessary.
Section 3.That the changes in the legal description do not
affect in any substantive manner the annexation of the property,
the zoning thereof,nor the Annexation Agreement between the Town
and SAM A.LUCE.
Section 4.That the changes in the legal description in no
way affect the contiguity nor any other requirements of the
Colorado Statutes for annexation.
Section 5.That,other than the minor changes in the legal
description,no other change or amendment has occurred that would
affect the property with regard to the eligibility and applica
bility for annexation to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado.
Section 6.That the legal description of ARAPAHO MEADOWS
ADDITION to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is approved as
follows:
ARAPAHO MEADOWS ADDITION to the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado,being portions of Lots 2,3,4 and 5,Section
1,Township 4 North,Range 73 West of the 6th P.M.,and
Lots 1,6 and 7,Section 2,Township 4 North,Range 73
West of the 6th P.M.,being more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Section 1,T4N,
R73W,thence Easterly along the North line of said
Section 1 1972.37’to the West line of Erickson’s

to the southwest corner of Erickson’s Addition;thence
along the south lines of Erickson’s,Dannels,Kidwell

thence continuing 568°05’E 104.58’to easterly r.o.w.

Section 7.The Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado,herewith finds,determines and designates that this
Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace,health and safety,in order to provide for immedi
ate availability of municipal services to the annexed area;and
whereas,in the opinion of the Board of Trustees,an emergency
exists,this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immedi
ately after its passage,adoption and signature of the Mayor.

read at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees on the 12th
day of November,1985 and published in a newspaper of general
circulation in the Town of Estes Park,Colorado.
