AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 2 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,THE SAME PERTAINING
TO COMPENSATION OF THE MAYOR AND THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That Section 2.56.020 of the Municipal Code of
the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby amended to read as
follows:
2.56.020 Compensation of Mayor and the Board of Trustees.
The Mayor shall receive as full compensation for his services the
sum of One Thousand Eight Hundred ($1,800)dollars per year during
each year of his term,payable in equal monthly payments.Each
member of the Board of Trustees shall receive as full
compensation for his services the sum of
One Thousand Two Hundred ($1,200)dollars per year during each
year of his term,payable in equal monthly payments.
Section 2.That Section 2.12.030 of the Municipal Code of
the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby repealed.
Section 3.The Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado,herewith finds,determines and designates that this
Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace,health and safety,for the compensation of the
Mayor and members of the Board of Trustees affects the public
peace,health and safety;and whereas,in the opinion of the
Board of Trustees,an emergency exists,this Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force after its final passage,adoption and
signature of the Mayor.
