Present:Mayor Harry B.Tregent Trustees:Robert E.Burgess,Byron L.
Graves,Margaret Houston,
Craig W.Meusel,Robert E.
Wagner
Also Present:Town Administrator —
Dale 0.Hill
Absent:Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels
Minutes of the regular meeting held November 24,1980 were read
and approved as read.
Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved the following bills he allowed and
paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for the same.
(A certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in
the office of the Town Clerk under this date,and made a part of
the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.)Trustee
Graves seconded the motion and it passed by the following votes:
Those voting “Yes”Trustees Robert F.Burgess,Byron L.Graves,
Margaret Houston,Craig W.Meusel,Robert F.Wagner.Those voting
“No”none.
Fire Chief Jack Rumley and Fire Department Secretary/Treasurer
Bob Dike presented a summary of the fire calls and financial
statement of the Fire Department for January 1,1980 through
December 1,1980.
Trustee Robert F.Burgess,Chairman of the Light &Power Committee,
read the minutes of a meeting held December 5,1980 and moved the
minutes be approved.Trustee Houston seconded the motion and it
passed unanimously.
Trustee Robert E.Burgess introduced and the Town Administrator
read in full the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Burgess
moved the ordinance be passed and adopted on first and final
reading.:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13.12.110 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,
RELATING TO LIGHT AND POWER RATE SCHEDULES CONTAINING
CHARGES FOR THE SERVICE OF ELECTRIC POWER AND ENERGY
BY THE LIGHT AND POWER DEPARTMENT OF THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARK,COLORADO.
Trustee Houston seconded the motion and it passed by the following
votes:Those voting “yes”Trustees Byron L.Graves,Margaret Houston,
Craig W.Meusel,Robert E.Wagner,Robert E.Burgess.Those voting fl
“No”none.Whereupon Mayor Harry B.Tregent declared said ordinance
duly passed and adopted and ordered it numbered #23—80 and published
according to law.
Trustee Robert E.Wagner introduced and the Town Administrator
read in full the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Wagner
moved the ordinance be passed and adopted on first and final
reading:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13.32 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,
THE SAME PERTAINING TO WATER RATES AND CHARGES.

Trustee Meusel seconded the motion and it passed by the fol
lowing votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees Margaret Houston,
Craig W.Meusel,Robert E.Wagner,Robert E.Burgess,Byron L.
Graves.Those voting “No”none.Whereupon Mayor Harry B.
Tregent declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted and
ordered it numbered #24—80 and published according to law.
Trustee Robert E.Burgess introduced the following resolution
and moved it be passed and adopted:
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
That the Town of Estes Park purchase the Baldwin property
located at 240 West Riverside Drive,Estes Park,Colorado,
subject to a life estate of Hazel Baldwin.
Be it further resolved that the Mayor be authorized to
execute the purchase agreement for the property in conformity
with this Resolution.
Trustee Wagner seconded the motion and it passed by the following
votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees Craig W.Meusel,Robert E.
Wagner,Robert E.Burgess,Byron L.Graves,Margaret Houston.
Those voting TTNOT none.
Trustee Robert E.Burgess moved that the liquor license renewal
for Charles and Mary Lou Baumhover dba The Edel Haus be approved.
Trustee Houston seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Trustee Robert E.Wagner introduced the following resolution and
moved it be passed and adopted:
RESOLUT ION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to sign
the Sates Tax Collection Agreement dated December 9,1980 by
and between the Town of Estes Park and Larimer County.
Trustee Meusel seconded the motion and it passed by the following
votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees Robert E.Wagner,Robert E.
Burgess,Byron L.Graves,Margaret Houston,Craig W.Meusel.
Those voting “No”none.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
