Following written notification to the Board of Trustees and verbal
notification to the press (Trail Gazette,Loveland Reporter-Herald,
KSIR),Mayor Harry B.Tregent called to order a special meeting of
the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park this 19th day of
February,1979 at 3:00 p.m.to discuss Frank Williams’request re
garding Town acceptance and maintenance of James—McIntyre Road.
Attorney Joseph P.Jenkins appeared on behalf of his client,Mr.
Frank Williams,and answered further questions concerning Mr.
Williams’request that the Town of Estes Park accept the James—
McIntyre Road (Old Fall River Road)and maintain it.
Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels moved that in accordance with the
District Court’s decision,the Board of Trustees deny Mr.Williams’
request for the Town to accept and maintain the James—McIntyre
Road.Trustee Burgess seconded the motion.The motion passed
by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees Robert E.
Burgess,H.Bernerd Dannels,Margaret Houston,James H.Swickard,
Robert B.Wagner.Those voting “No”Trustee Jack T.Rumley.
There being no further business,the meeting was adjourned.
