Hill
Absent:None
Minutes of the regular meeting held May 16,1977 were read and
approved as read.
Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels,Chairman of the Public Works Commit
tee,read the minutes of a meeting held May 19,1977 and moved
the minutes be approved.Trustee Petrocine seconded the motion
and upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
Trustee N.T.Petrocine,Chairman of the Estes Park Planning
Commission,read the minutes of a meeting held May 17,1977.
Mayor Harry B.Tregent conducted a public hearing on the proposed
amendment to Section 1.04.020 and Chapter 17.32 of the Municipal
Code regarding the definition of massage parlors and their allowable
use in a C—i Commercial zoning district under special review.
There were no persons present speaking in favor of or in opposi
tion to the proposed amendment and no correspondence was received
regarding the same.Mayor Harry B.Tregent declared the hearing
closed,
Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels introduced and the Clerk read in full
the following entitled ordinance,and Trustee flannels moved the
ordinance be passed on first reading:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1.04.020 AND CHAPTER
17.32 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO,RELATING TO DEFINITION OF MASSAGE
PARLORS AND MASSAGE PARLORS AS A USE PERMITTED BY
SPECIAL REVIEW IN C-i,COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICT.
Trustee Sutter seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees N.T.
Petrocine,Rollen Sutter,Robert E.Wagner,H.Bernerd Dannels,
Robert E.Burgess,Margaret Houston.Those voting “No”none.
The Town Clerk read the minutes of a Policemen’s Pension Board
meeting held on May 20,1977.
Trustee Robert E.Burgess introduced and the Clerk read in full
the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Burgess moved the
ordinance be passed on first reading:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1.04.020 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO,RELATING TO THE DEFINITION OF “AMUSE
MENT”.
Trustee Dannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees H.
Bernerd Dannels,Robert E.Burgess,Margaret Houston,Robert E.
Wagner,N.T.Petrocine,Rollen Sutter.Those voting “No”none.

meeting scheduled for June 14th has been rescheduled for June 7th.
