Minutes of regula meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes
Pork,Larimer County,Colorado.Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Pork
on the ..2.Sth day of e.Pt.e.fl13.e.r A.D.19.76.at regular meeting
hour.
Meeting called to order by Mayor J .
Present:Mayor Harry B.Tregent Trustees:N.T.Petrocine,Robert

Minutes of the regular meeting held September 13,1976 were read
and approved as read.
Trustee N.P.Petrocine,Chairman of the Planning Commission,read
the minutes of a meeting held September 17,1976.
Mayor Harry B.Tregent proceeded to conduct a public hearing on
the proposed rezoning of Tract 79,Fall River Addition from the
existing R—2 Multiple Family Residential to C—2 Restricted Com
mercial.Attorney Joseph P.Jenkins appeared representing peti
tioners Richard and Anifred Taylor,and John and Helen Schell.
homer Clements and Lester Caswell,adjacent property owners,also
appeared speaking in favor of the rezoning request.There were
no persons present speaking in opposition to the rezoning.A
letter dated September 20,1976 from Town Planner/Engineer Van
horn was read into the record whereupon Mayor Tregent declared
the hearing closed.Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved the Board
grant the rezoning and that the Town Attorney be directed to
prepare an ordinance approving the rezoning.Trustee Sutter
seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
Trustee II.Bernerd Dannels,Chairman of the Public Works Committee,
read the minutes of a meeting held September 23,1976 and moved
they be approved.Trustee Sutter seconded the motion.Upon roll
call the motion unanimously carried.
In reviewing the bids for a new dump truck received in the Public
Works Committee meeting,Director of Public Works Van horn reported
that Long Pontiac’s bid including the desired options was the lowest
acceptable bid.Long Pontiac’s bid with a 427 CI motor,tachometer,
and 50 gallon gas tank totaled $11,710.60 which was $436.86 below
the next lowest bid.Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved the bid of
Long Pontiac of Longmont be accepted.Trustee Houston seconded
the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
A request for a 24’wide curb cut onto holiday Lane from the north
west portion of Lot 9,South Saint Vram Addition,was submitted
by Bob Citta.The curb cut would be approximately 70’east of
highway 7.Trustee H.Bernerd Danneis moved the curb cut be
granted.Trustee Sutter seconded the motion.Upon roll call the
motion unanimously carried.
The Town Clerk Pro Tem proceeded to open bids on the remodeling of
the interior of the East Riverside public rest rooms and announced
the following:

Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels moved the Public Works Director review
the bid and negotiate possible revisions with the bidder which
would more nearly meet the $25,000 budgeted amount without sacri
ficing quality.The final revised bid would then be submitted to
the Public Works Committee for final approval.Trustee Wagner
seconded the motion and upon roll call the motion unanimously
carried.
Trustee H.Bernerd Danneis introduced and the Town Clerk Pro Tern
read the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Dannels moved
it be passed on second and final reading:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13.32.010 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO,TIlE SAME RELATING TO TAP
CHARGES AND WATER RIGhTS FEES.
Trustee Sutter seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees H.
Bernerd Dannels,Margaret Houston,Robert E.Burgess,Robert E.
Wagner,N.T.Petrocine,Rollen Sutter.Those voting “No”none.
Whereupon Mayor Harry B.Tregent declared said ordinance duly
passed and adopted and ordered it numbered 33—76 and published
according to law.
Trustee N.T.Petrocine moved the liquor license renewal appli
cation submitted by Leon D.Kemper dba Gaslight Surrey be approved.
Trustee Wagner seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
unanimously carried.
Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved the liquor license renewal appli
cation submitted by Mary A.Kemper dba The Surrey be approved.
Trustee Sutter seconded the motion and upon roll call the motion
unanimously carried.
There being no further business,it was regularly moved,seconded
and carried the meeting adjourn.
