Present:Mayor Harry B.Tregent Trustees:Robert F.Burgess,H.Bernerd
flannels,N.T.Petrocine,
Glenn Prosser,and Rollen
Sutter.
Also Present:Town Administrator and Clerk
Dale G.Hill
Absent:Trustee:Robert F.Wagner
Minutes of a regular meeting held on May 13,1974 were read and approved as
read.
Trustee H.Bernerd flannels introduced the following resolution and moved it
be passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado:
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO:
That the Mayor and Town Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign
the Agreement dated Nay 27,1974,by and between the Town of Estes Park and
Park School District R3 regarding office rental space in the Municipal Building.
Trustee Rollen Sutter seconded the motion,and upon roll call the motion was
unanimously carried.
Trustee N.T.Petrocine introduced the following resolution and moved it be
passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado:
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK.
COLORADO:
That the Mayor and Town Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign
the Agreement dated Nay 27,1974,by and between the Town of Estes Park and
the Upper Thompson Sanitation District regarding office rental space in the
Municipal Building.
Trustee H.Bernerd flannels seconded the motion,and upon roll call the motion
was unanimously carried.
Trustee Glenn Prosser,Chairman of the Estes Park Planning Commission,read
the minutes of the Planning Commission Meeting held May 21,1974.
Trustee Robert F.Burgess introduced and the Town Clerk read in full the
following entitled ordinance,and Trustee Burgess moved it be passed on first
and final reading:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8.04.040 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO,REMTING TO JIJNK AND
ABATEMENT OF UNlAWFUL ACCUMUlATIONS THEREOF.

Trustee II.Bernerd flannels seconded the motion,and upon roll call the
motion was passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”:Trustees
Robert E.Burgess,H.Bernerd flannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,and
Rollen Sutter.Those voting “No”:None.Whereupon Mayor Harry B.Tregent
declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted and ordered it numbered
12—74 and published according to law.
Trustee Robert E.Burgess introduced the following resolution and moved
it be passed and adopted:
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY ThE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARE,
COWNADO:
That Gregory A.White be appointed Assistant Town Attorney by the
Town of Estes Park,Colorado.
Trustee Rollen Sutter seconded the motion,and upon roll call the motion
was unanimously carried.
Trustee H,Bernerd flannels,Chairman of the Public Works Committee,read
the minutes of the meeting held on May 23,1974,and moved the minutes be
approved and adopted.Trustee N.T.Petrocine seconded the motion.Upon
roll call the motion was passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”:
Trustees H.Bernerd flannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,and Rollen
Sutter.Those voting “No”:Trustee Robert E.Burgess.
Trustee H.Bernerd flannels introduced the following resolution and moved
it be passed and adopted:
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COlORADO:
That the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park does hereby
authorize the Town Planner,Mr.William Van Horn,to appear before the
Iarimer County Commissioners on May 30,1974,and object to the zoning
change proposed in Carriage Hills.The Town objects to any zoning that
will result in a higher density.The Board of Trustees also authorizes
the Town Attorney to write a letter conveying the Town’s feeling regard
ing this matter.
Trustee Glenn Prosser seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”:Trustees Robert E.
Burgess,H.Bernerd flannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Rollen
Sutter.Those voting “No”:None.

Several people in the audience requested consideration for a traffic
signal at the intersection of Stanley Avenue and St.Vram Avenue.It
was explained that this problem would have to be submitted to the State
Highway Department for consideration.The Board also discussed the pos
sibility of installing a caution light and removing trees that obscure
vision of traffic.
The Town Administrator reported on conversations with the Town Attorney
regarding the three—wheel rental bicycles.It is the opinion of the
Town Attorney that the rental bicycles are legal and can operate in the
Town.The Town does have the authority to restrict the vehicles from
certain streets,but in doing so must provide alternate routes and also
obtain the approval of the State Highway Department.
There being no further business,it was regularly moved,seconded and
carried the meeting adjourn.
