Meeting called to order by Mayor ..UQ1Y.A...ççgp Present:MoyorllarrY B.Tregent Trustees:Robert E.Burgess,H.Bernerd flannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Rollen Sutter,Robert E.Wagner Also Present:Town Administrator and Clerk Dale G.Hill Absent: Minutes of a regular meeting held on June 25,1973,were read and approved as read. Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same.(A Certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.)Trustee Robert E.Burgess seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees Robert E.Burgess,H.Bernerd flannels,N.T.Petrocine, Glenn Prosser,Rollen Sutter,Robert E.Wagner.Those voting “No”none. Trustee Robert E.Burgess introduced the following ordinance and moved it be passed and adopted on first and final reading: AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF ThE STREET, LOCATED BETWEEN LOTS 20 AND 30 OF BONNIE BRAE ADDITION TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO. Trustee Rollen Sutter seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees H.Bernerd flannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Rollen Sutter,Robert E.Wagner, Robert E.Burgess.Those voting “No”none.Whereupon Mayor Harry B. Tregent declared said ordinance duly .passed and adopted and ordered it numbered 21—73 and published according to law. Trustee H.Bernerd flannels,Chairman of the Public Works Committee,read the minutes of the meeting held on June 28,1973,and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.Trustee Glenn Prosser seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Robert E.Burgess,Chairman of the Public Safety Committee,read the minutes of the meeting held on July 5,1973,and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.Trustee Rollen Sutter seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Glenn Prosser,Chairman of the Water Committee,read the minutes of the meeting held on July 6,1973,and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.Trustee II.Bernerd flannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee N.T.Petrocine,Chairman of the Light and Power Committee,read the minutes of the meeting held on July 6,1973,and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.Trustee Robert E.Wagner seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. The Town Administrator presented the 1974 budget calendar as follows: Ztoftnt øf gStCS 3flarh,Larimer County,Colorado.19. Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,Lorimer County,Colorado.Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the day of ,A.IX 19....at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Present:Mayor Trustees: ii Also Present: Absent: August 13 Appoint person to prepare budget. August 15 Departments,boards,counnission or other spending agencies submit estimates to budget maker. September 10 Budget submitted to Board of Trustees. September 24 First reading of Budget Ordinance. October 8 Second and final reading of Budget Ordinance. October 16 Certification of budget to State and County. Note:Mayor Tregent has set budget work sessions for 7 :30 P.M.on the following evenings: #1.September 11th -Tuesday. #2.September 13th -Thursday. #3.September 17th —Monday. Additional meetings will be scheduled if needed. The Board of Trustees discussed the effect of the gasoline shortage on the Town of Estes Park.Robert E.Wagner moved that a letter be com posed and signed by the Mayor and addressed to Governor Love and Lieutenant Governor Vanderhoof stressing the following: 1.The Town of Estes Park is not in favor of an increased cost of petroleum products. 2.The true story of why the shortages occur should be made public. 3.The news media coverage has a tendency to hurt vacation areas such as Estes Park. 4.There should be special allocations of motor fuel to vacation areas. Trustee Rollen Sutter seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Glenn Prosser urged the Board to give serious consideration in their 1974 budget deliberations to the financing of a hay and straw barn capable of storing 1,500 bales.
