Also Present:
Town Administrator and Clerk Dale G.Hill
Absent:
Minutes of the regular meeting held on July 26,1971,were read and
approved as read.
Trustee Henry D.flannels moved the following bills be allowed and paid
and the Clerk be authorized to.draw warrants for same.(A Certified copy
of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk
under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by
reference thereto.)Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion.
Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting
“Yes”Trustees Gerald H.Brownfield,Henry 0.flannels,N.T.Petrocine,
Glenn Prosser,Marvin 1.Steele,Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”
none.
Mr.Gene L.Kreider,along with two of his neighbors from Meadowdale
Hills area on Highway 36,appeared before the council to place in the
record their desire to obtain water from the Town of Estes Park.Mr.
Kreider urged the Town to include their.area in the plans for the water
district system.
Mr.Ron Reiland,Manager of the Estes Park Chamber of Commerce,appeared
in behalf of the Pikes Peak Sports Car Club.Trustee Marvin L.Steele
moved that the sports car club be given permission to use Parking Lot
#2 from 3:00 P.M.to 6:00 P.M.on September 11,1971,from 9:00 A.M.to
3:00 P.M.on September 12,1971 and the Stanley Park race track on
September 12,1971 all day.TIE Police Department will rope off the
parking area at the designated times.Trustee N.T.Petrocine seconded
the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.Trustee
Glenn Prosser will obtain cost estimates on replacing dirt at the Stanley
Park race track.
Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield introduced the following resolution and
moved it be passed and adopted:
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE WWN OF ESTES PARK,
COWRADO:
That the Town Administrator be appointed to prepare the budget for
1972.
Trustee Henry 0.flannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees Gerald H.
Brownfield,Henry 0.flannels,Glenn Prosser,N.T.Petrocine,Marvin L.
Steele,Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none.
Trustee Henry D.flannels,Chairman of the Water Committee,reported on
a Water Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of August 2,1971,
and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.Trustee Marvin L.
Steele seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously
carried.

Trustee Marvin L.Steele,Chairman of the Public Works Committee,re
ported on a Public Works Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes
of August 5,1971,and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.
Trustee Harry B.Tregent seconded the motion.Upon roll call the
motion unanimously carried.Trustee N.T.:Petrocine suggested that a
separate paragraph be included in the contract with the Recreation
District that will provide for the supervision of all public areas by
the Recreation District..;-
The following items were discussed by the Council:
East Riverside Drive storm drainage.
Municipal Subdistrict budget for next year.
Progress on chapter 21 of the Municipal Code.
There being no further business,it was regularly moved,seconded and
carried that the meeting adjourn.L -
