Minutes of the regular meeting held on June 14,1971,were read and
approved as read.

Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield/that Mr.Eyler D.Larson be appointed to
the position of Building Inspector-Zoning Administrator.Trustee Henry
D.flannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously
carried.
Mr.&Mrs.Lowell Slack,owners of the shop “Casa de Dulces”submitted
a request to the Board of Trustees acting in the capacity of the Board
of Appeal8,for permission to install an air conditioning opening in
the east wall of their shop.This opening would be adjacent to the Town
parking lot and in all probability would not in the forseeable future be
adjacent to any structures.Trustee Harry B.Tregent moved the appeal be
granted as requested.Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion.
Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
A proposed contract between the Town of Estes Park and Casper Underground
for the installation of an underground power line to the Hidden Valley
Development was read in full to the Board of Trustees.Trustee Harry B.
Tregent introduced the following resolution and moved it be passed and
adopted.
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO:
That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the proposed
contract between the Town of Estes Park and Casper Underground subject
to minor changes in wording to be determined by the Town of Estes Park
special legal counsel.
Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion.Upon roll call the
motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees N.T.Petrocine
Gerald H.Brownfield,Henry 0.flannels,Glenn Prosser,Marvin L.Steele,
Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none.
Trustee Marvin L.Steele moved that Mr.C.M.Hunter,Parktdcw Recreatiop,
Inc.,be granted permission for a driveway immediately south of his
office and residence on Highway No.7.Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield
seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
The Estes Park Planning Commission minutes of June 15,1971,were read
to the Board of Trustees by Planning Commission Chairman Glenn Prosser.
The Board was advised that the Department of Housing and Urban Develop
ment have determined that Project No.P-Colo-3l13 Planning Advance-Water,
has been determined to be 58.9 percent of the amount advanced or $12,322.37.
Repayment of this amount will be due and payable to H.U.D upon receipt of
their billing notice.The balance remaining,or $8,607.63,will remain
oftin f 3urb,Larimer County,Colorado.19.

outstanding until such time as a determination of liability or non—
liability can be made on this remaining portion.
The Board of Trustees was advised that the Water Project,WS—Colorado
—90 has been reduced by $9,700.00 to $466,800.00.The Town Administrator
will review this determination by H.U.D.with the proper authorities.
A letter,dated June 25,1971,from the Fort Collins—Loveland Airport
Board was read to the Board of Trustees.This letter requested support
for a regional planning study by the Larimer-Weld Regional Planning
Commission.Trustee Glenn Prosser,a member of the Larimer—Weld Regional
Planning Commission,was instructed to study this matter and report back
its progress to the Board of Trustees.
There being no further business,it was regularly moved,seconded and
carried that the meeting adjourn.
