Also Present:Town Administrator &Clerk Dale G.Hill
Absent:Marvin L.Steele
Minutes of the regular meeting held May 11,1970,were read and approved
as read.
A request was submitted by 0.M.Nagl,dba The Wheel,146 East Elkhorn
Avenue,Estes Park,Colorado,for permission to expand and enlarge the
premises at this location.Trustee N.T.Petrocine moved the request
be granted.Trustee Henry D.Dannels seconded the motion.Upon roll
call the motion unanimously carried.
Mr.&Mrs.Austin Jack Cooper,Jr.,dba Lazy T Motor Lodge,1600 Big
Thompson Highway,Estes Park,Colorado,submitted a request to transfer
State license No.G 733(1969),03-14927(1970)from Floyd Wallen’s name
to theirs.The police investigation report submitted by Chief Robert
W.Ault was examined by the Board of Trustees.Trustee N.T.Petrocine
moved this application be approved.Trustee Harry B.Tregent seconded
the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
Trustee N.T.Petrocine introduced the following ordinance and moved it
be passed and adopted on first and final reading:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 17.11 AND 17.30 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COW
RADO,RElATING TO WITERING AND OPEN DISPlAY OF
FERMENTED MALT BEVERAGES AND ANY MALT,VINOUS OR
SPIRITUOUS LIQUORS.
Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion.Upon roll call the
motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees
Gerald H.Brownfield,Henry D.Dannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,
Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none.Whereupon Mayor Ronald C.
Brodie declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted and ordered it
numbered 9-70 and published according to law.
Trustee N.T.Petrocine,Chairman of the Public Safety Committee,re
ported on a Public Safety Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes
of Nay 13,1970 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.
Trustee Harry B.Tregent seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
unanimously carried.
Trustee N.T.Petrocine,Chairman of the Public Safety Committee,re
ported on a Public Safety Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes
of Nay 20,1970 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.
Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion.Upon roll call the
motion unanimously carried.

Trustee Harry B.Tregent,Chairman of the Light &Power Committee,re
ported on a Light &Power Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes
of May 20,1970 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.
Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion.Upon roll call the
motion unanimously carried.
The minutes of the Board of Adjustment were read by Chairman Henry 0.
Dannels,tho moved the minutes be accepted.Trustee Gerald H.Brown-
field seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously
carried.
The Clerk read the minutes of the Planning Commission held May 19,1970.
Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield,Chairman of the Code and Sanitation Com
mittee,reported on a Code and Sanitation Committee meeting as itemized
in the minutes of May 14,1970 and moved that the minutes be approved
and adopted.Trustee Henry 0.Dannels seconded the motion.Upon roll
call the motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business,it was regularly moved,seconded and
carried that the meeting adjourn.
