The proceedings of the Estes Park General Improvement Sewer District No.1
are attached to and made a part of these minutes.
Minutes of the regular meeting held April 27,1970 were read and approved
as read.
Trustee Henry D.Dannels moved the following bills be allowed and paid and
the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same.(A Certified copy of
the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk
under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by
reference thereto.)Trustee N.T.Petrocine seconded the motion.Upon
roll call the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”
Trustees Gerald H.Brownfield,Henry D.Dannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn
Prosser,Marvin L.Steele,Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none.
Trustee N.T.Petrocine introduced the following ordinance and moved it
be passed and adopted on first and final reading:
AN ORDINANCE AJYWNDING SECTION 7.3-5 (b)OF THE MUN
ICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,
RELATING TO LIGHT AND POWER DEPARTMENT SERVICE
DEPOSITS AND INTEREST THEREON.
Trustee Glenn Prosser seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees Gerald H.
Brownfield,Henry D.Dannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Marvin L.
Steele,Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none.Whereupon Mayor Pro
Tem Harry B.Tregent declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted
and ordered it numbered 6-70 and published according to law.
Trustee Glenn Prosser introduced the following ordinance and moved it
be passed and adopted on first and final reading:
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF BIG HORN DRIVE,
LOCATED ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF lOT 124 OF AL FRESCO
PLACE,AN ADDITION TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO.
Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion.Upon roll call the
motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees
Gerald H.Brownfield,Henry D.Dannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,
Marvin L.Steele,Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none.Whereupon
Mayor Pro Tem Harry B.Tregent declared said ordinance duly passed and

Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield introduced the following ordinance and
moved it be passed and adopted on first and final reading:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12.4 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,RElATING
TO ZONING AND REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
Trustee Henry II.flannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees Gerald H.
Brownfield,Henry 0.Dannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Marvin L.
Steele,Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none.Whereupon Mayor Pro
Tem Harry B.Tregent declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted and
ordered it numbered 8-70 and published according to law.
The Clerk presented an application from Jay Mac,Inc.,dba Hungry Traveler,
4 115 Moraine Avenue,Estes Park,Colorado,for a renewal of his 3.27.beer
license.Trustee Marvin L.Steele seconded the motion.Upon roll call
the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees
Gerald H.Brownfield,Henry D.Dannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,
Marvin L.Steele,Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none.
Guy Elder,representing Mountain Bell,appeared before the Board of
Trustees and submitted a proposed street numbering plan.This plan is the
standard used by Iarimer County and most of the incorporated areas within
tarimer County.Mayor Pro Tem Tregent referred Mountain Bell’s request
for the Town of Estes Park to adopt the above mentioned plan to the Build
ing Code Conunittee for their recommendation.
Trustee N.T.Petrocine,Chairman of the Public Safety Committee,reported
on a Public Safety Counnittee meeting as itemized in the minutes of April
30,1970 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.Trustee Henry
B.flannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously
carried.
Trustee N.T.Petrocine,Chairman of the Public Safety Comittee,reported
on a Public Safety Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of May 6,
1970 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.Trustee Gerald
H.Erownfield seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously
carried.
Trustee Glenn Prosser,Chairman of the Advertising and Public Relations
Committee,reported on an Advertising and Public Relations Committee meet
ing as itemized in the minutes of May 1,1970 and moved that the minutes
be approved and adopted.Trustee N.T.Petrocine seconded the motion.
Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.

a Water Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of May 4,1970 and
moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.Trustee Glenn Prosser
seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
Trustee Marvin L.Steele,Chairman of the Public Works Committee,reported
on a Public Works Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of May 5,
1970 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.Trustee Glenn
Prosser seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously
carried.
Trustee Henry P.flannels,Chairman of the Water Committee,reported on
a Six City Water meeting held in Fort Collins on May 6,1970.
Trustee Glenn Prosser reported on a meeting called by the State Highway
Department for the purpose of discussing a new transmountain highway
route and held May 11,1970 in Fort Collins,Colorado.
A letter,dated May 5,1970,from a group of citizens as follows:W.L.
Wiemers,Richard W.Koenig,Frank A.Gordon,Leonard Beckman,C.W.Wilson,
concerning an accumulation of trash on the Gailen Lovenburg property at
301 North Lane,Estes Park,Colorado,was read to the Bcerd of Trustees.
Mayor Pro Tem referred the above mentioned letter to the Public Safety
Committee.
Mr.James Knox submitted a request to the Board of Trustees for the re
moval of bushes on the state highway right-of-way north of the property
and adjacent to the C.N.Hunter property.Mayor Pro Tem Harry B.Tregent
referred this request to the Building Code Committee.
There being no further business,it was regularly moved,seconded and
carried that the meeting adjourn.
