Present:Mayor Pro Tern Trustees:Henry 0.Dannels,E.S.Erickson,
Harry B.Tregent William F.Grove,N.T.Petrocine,
Marvin L.Steele,Harry B.Tregent
Also Present:Town Administrator and Clerk Dale G.Hill
Absent:Mayor Ronald C.Brodie
Minutes of the regular meeting held February 9,1970 were read and approved
as read.
A request for two 35’curb cuts on Hanford Avenue and one 35’curb cut on
Highway 7 was submitted to the Board of Trustees by the Estes Park Lumber
Company.This property is located at the intersection of Hanford Avenue
and South St.Vram Avenue.Trustee Henry D.flannels moved this request
be granted.Trustee E.S.Ericksonseconded the motion.Upon roll call the
motion unanimously carried.
Trustee N.T.Petrocine introduced the following resolution and moved it be
passed and adopted:
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COmRADe:
That the Town Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to proceed
with the steps he feels necessary to collect an insufficient fund check in
the amount of $625.00 and a delinquent light and power bill in the amount of
$223.06 from Thomas Floyd Sharrard.
Trustee Marvin L.Steele seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees Henry D.flannels,
E.S.Erickson,William F.Grove,N.T.Petrocine,Marvin L.Steele,Harry
B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none.
Trustee Henry fi.flannels,Chairman of the Water Committee,reported on a
Water Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of February 11,1970,
and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.Trustee William F.
Grove seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
Trustee Marvin L.Steele,a member of the Police Committee,reported on a
Police Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of February 19,1970,
and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.Trustee E.S.Erickson
seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
The Estes Park Planning Commission minutes,dated February 17,1970,were
read to the Board of Trustees.
The Board of Trustees was requested to give their informal opinion as to
their attitude towards the Estes Park Hospital rezoning application for a
portion of Let 5,Hanford Addition to the Town of Estes Park.The Board
of Trustees were polled and they,informally and unanimously,gave an in
dication that they would look favorably upon the rezoning ordinance when
it is presented.

Trustee N.T.Petrocine,Chairman of the Public Building and Parks Committee,
reported to the Board of Trustees that he had contacted his committee and
considered two bids for the purpose of installing a new roof on the Municipal
Buildings,as follows:

Earl Collins Roofing Company
$1,980.00
$2,027.00
The Public Buildings and Parks Committee recommends the low bid submitted
by Anderson Roofing and Insulation Company be accepted.Trustee Henry 0.
flannels moved the recommendation of the Public Buildings and Parks Commit
tee be accepted and that the roofing job be given as per the low bid.
Trustee William F.Grove seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
unanimously carried.
The Clerk announced that the State Game,Fish and Parks Department have
formally approved the Big Thompson Riverfront project,number 05-00235,
in the amount of $2,000.00 and that the project may begin.
There being no further business,it was regularly moved,
carried that the meeting adjourn.
