Minutes of a ..meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes
Park,Larimer County,Colorado.Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park

Meeting called to order by Mayor krocie
Present,Mayor Ronald C.Brodie Trustees:Henry 13.Dannels,Gerald H.

Minutes of the regular meeting held November 9,1970 were read and
approved as read.
Mayor Brodie proceeded to appoint Mr.Robert E.Wagner as a member of
the Estes Park Planning Commission.Mr.Wagner will fill out the term
of office held by the late Mr.E.S.Erickson.Mr.Wagner’s term of
office will expire in April,1976.Trustee Glenn Prosser moved that
the Board of Trustees concur with Mayor Brodie’s apppointment of Mr.
Wagner to the Estes Park Planning Commission.Trustee Henry 0.Dannels
seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
Trustee Marvin I.Steele arrived and took his seat on the council.
The Texaco Oil Company submitted a request to install a 6,000 gallon
gas tank at 321 East Elkhorn Avenue,Estes Park,Colorado.George L.
Mowery,Building Inspector,has approved the plans.In accordance with
Section 14.4 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park,Trustee
Henry D.Dannels moved the permit be granted.Trustee Harry B.Tregent
seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
An application for a renewal of a Beer,Wine and Spirituous Liquor
License,for sale in hotels or restaurants by the drink only was sub
mitted for Dr.H.L.Schroeder,dba Gartner Haus,1350 Big Thompson
Ave.,Estes Park,Colorado.Trustee Harry B.Tregent moved the appli
cation be approved.Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion,
Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
An application from Brodie’s Super Market,Inc.,dba Brodie’s Super
Market,348 E.Elkhorn Ave.,Estes Park,Colorado,for a renewal of his
3.257.beer license was presented to the Board of Trustees.Trustee
Gerald H.Brownfield moved the application be approved.Trustee Henry
0.Dannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously
carried.
An application for a renewal of a Beer,Wine and Spirituous Liquor
license,for sale in hotels or restaurants by the drink only was sub
mitted for Black Canyon Ranch,Inc.,1300 MacGregor Avenue,Estes Park,
Colorado.Trustee N.T.Petrocine moved the application be approved.
Trustee Marvin L.Steele seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
unanimously carried.
Mr.Edwin E.&Joyce E.Edwards dba Continental Restaurant &Lounge,
110 W.Elkhorn Avenue,Estes Park,Colorado,submitted an application
for a renewal of their Beer,Wine and Sprituous Liquor License,for
sale in hotels or restaurants by the drink only.Trustee Glenn Prosser
moved this application be approved.Trustee Henry 13.Dannels seconded
the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.

Estes Park,Colorado.Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield moved this applica
tion be approved.Trustee Glenn Prosser seconded the motion.Upon
roll call the motion unanimously carried.
An application for a renewal of a Beer,Wine and Spirituous Liquor
License,for sale in hotels or restaurants by the drink only was sub
mitted for Austin J.&Dorothy S.Cooper dba lazy T Motor Lodge,1600
Big Thompson Highway,Estes Park,Colorado.Trustee Harry B.Tregent
moved this application be approved.Trustee Glenn Prosser seconded the
motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
An application for a renewal of a Beer,Wine and Spirituous Liquor
License for sale in hotels or restaurants by the drink only was submitted
for Wm.E.and Robert B.Burgess,dba Old Plantation Restaurant,140 East
Elkhorn Avenue,Estes Park,Colorado.Trustee N.T.Petrocine moved
this application be approved.Trustee Henry D.Dannels seconded the
motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
An application for a renewal of a Retail Liquor Store License was sub
mitted for Rocky Mountain Drive In Liquor,Inc.,448 W.Riverside Park
way,Estes Park,Colorado.Trustee Henry D.Dannels moved this applica
tion be approved.Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion.
Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
Trustee N.T.Petrocine,Chairman of the Public Safety Committee,re
ported on a Public Safety Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes
of November 10,1970 and moved the minutes be accepted.Trustee Harry
B.Tregent seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion passed by
the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees Henry B.Dannels,
Gerald H.Brownfield,N.T.Petrocine,Marvin L.Steele,Harry B.Tregent.
Those voting “No”Trustee Glenn Prosser.
The Estes Park Planning Commission minutes of November 17,1970 were read
to the Board of Trustees.
Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield,Chairman of the Code and Sanitation Committee,
reported on a Code and Sanitation Committee meeting as itemized in the mm
utes of November 19,1970 and moved the minutes be accepted.Trustee
Marvin L.Steele seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unan
imously carried.
Trustee Glenn Prosser requested that it be placed in the record that his
negative vote on the approval of the Public Safety Committee minutes
was due only to the reference on parades.
