Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes
Park,Larimer County,Colorado.Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park

Minutes of the regular meeting held October 12,1970 were read and
approved as read.
Mr.John Worst,owner of a portion of Lot 25,University Heights Sub
division,again submitted a request for permission to install a water
tight vault.Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield moved that Building Inspector
George I.Mowery be instructed to write Mr.Worst and inform him that he
should contact the Estes Park Sanitation District and petition them for
inclusion within the District.Trustee Marvin L.Steele seconded the
motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield moved Mr.Worst’s request to install a
water tight vault be tabled.Trustee Henry 0.Dannels seconded the
motion.Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield withdrew his motion and Trustee
Henry 0.Dannels withdrew his second.Trustee N.T.Petrocine moved
Mr.Worst’s request to install a water tight vault be denied pending
the outcome of his application to annex to the Estes Park Sanitation
District.Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion.Upon roll
call the motion unanimously carried.
An application for a renewal of a Liquor License for a Club was submitted
for Estes Park Post No.119,American Legion Club,1000 S.St.Vram Ave.,
Estes Park,Colorado.Trustee Glenn Prosser moved the application be ap
proved.Trustee Henry 0.Dannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call
the motion unanimously carried.
An application for a renewal of a Beer,Wine and Spirituous Liquor License,
for sale in hotels or restaurants by the drink only,was submitted for
Kenneth B.Nelson,dba Timberline Steakhouse and Lounge,1251 South St.
Vram,Estes Park,Colorado.Trustee N.T.Petrocine moved the applica
tion be approved.Trustee Gerald II.Browntield seconded the motion.Up
on roll call the motion unanimously carried.
An application for a renewal of a Beer,Wine and Spirituous Liquor
License,for sale in hotels or restaurants by the drink only was sub
mitted for 0.M.Nagl,dba The Wheel,146 East Elkhorn Aveneu,Estes
Park,Colorado.Trustee Henry P.Dannels moved the application be ap
proved.Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion.Upon roll
call the motion unanimously carried.
Trustee Henry B.Dannels,Chairman of the B:ard of Adjustment,read the
minutes of October 14,1970,to the Board of Trustees.
The Estes Park Planning Commission minutes of October 20,1970 were read
to the Board of Trustees.
Trustee N.T.Petrocine,Chairman of the Administrative Committee,re
ported on an Administrative Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes
of October 26,1970,and moved the minutes be accepted.Trustee Henry
0.flannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously
carried.

Trustee Glenn Prosser introduced the following resolution and moved it
be passed and adopted:
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COlORADO:
That Verne H.Fanton is appointed to act as municipal judge
for the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,in case of the temporary absence,
sickness or other inability of the duly appointed municipal judge to
act,and to so act until the disability of the municipal judge is re
moved.
Trustee Henry D.Dannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees Henry D.
Dannels,Gerald H.Brownfield,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Marvin L.
Steele,Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none.
Trustee N.T.Petrocine introduced the following resolution and moved it
be passed and adopted:
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO:
That the Mayor and Clerk are authorized and are hereby dir
ected to sign an agreement between the Town of Estes Park and the Estes
Park Sanitation District amending the agreement now in effect and dated
September 22,1969.This amendment will change paragraph B4 to read on
line six as follows:“amount of $70,000.00,multiplied by the ratio
which the”.
Trustee Marvin L.Steele seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion
passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees Henry D.
Dannels,Gerald H.Brownfield,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Marvin L.
Steele,Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none.
One bid of $256.60 for a 1949 GMC tractor and a 1953 low boy trailer was
received from Tyson’s Motors,Estes Park,Colorado.Mayor Pro Tem Tregent
referred this bid to Trustee Marvin L.Steele,Chairman of the Public
Works Committee.
Mayor Pro Tern Tregent suggested the Public Safety Committee consider the
need for winter operation of the stop light located at the intersection
of Elkhorn Avenue and MacGregor Avenue.It was also suggested a left
turn arrow for east bound traffic be considered.
