ORDINANCE NO.23-87
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO,TO BE KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS
WOODLANDS ADDITION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO:
SECTION 1:That a Petition for Annexation,together with
four (4)copies of the plat of said area as required by law,was
filed with the Board of Trustees on the 14th day of July,1987,
by the landowners of one hundred (100%)percent of the area and
owning one hundred (100%)percent of the area,excluding public
streets and alleys,of the area hereinafter described.The
Board,by Resolution at its regular meeting on the 14th day of
July,1987,accepted said Petition and found and determined that
the provisions of Section 31—12—107 (1)(g),C.R.S.,were met;
and the Board further determined that a public hearing should be
held on August 25,1987,at 7:30 P.M.in the Municipal Building
for the purposes of determining that the proposed annexation
complies with the applicable provisions of Sections 31—12—104 and
31—12—105,C.R.S.,and is considered eligible for annexation.
SECTION 2:That the Notice of said hearing was given and
published as provided in Section 31—12—108 (2),C.R.S.
SECTION 3:That the hearing was held pursuant to the
provisions of Section 31—12—109,C.R.S.,on the 25th day of
August,1987.
SECTION 4:That following said hearing,the Board of
Trustees adopted a Resolution determining that the proposed
annexation met the requirements of the applicable parts of
Section 31—12—104 and 31—12—105,C.R.S.;that an election was not
required under Section 31-12—107 (2),C.R.S.;and that no addi
tional terms or conditions are to be imposed upon said
annexation.
SECTION 5:That the annexation of the following described
area designated as WOODLANDS ADDITION to the Town of Estes Park,
is hereby approved:

Woodlands Addition to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,
being a portion of the SE of the NW of Section 31,
Township 5 North,Range 72 West of the 6th P.M.,being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Center Quarter corner of said Section
31,monumented by a 3/4”pipe,with all bearings
relative to the South line of said NWk of Section 31
considered as bearing N89°OVOO”W,and the POINT OF
BEGINNING;
Thence along said South line of the NW of
Section 31 N89°07’OO”W,1131.83 feet to a
point being the Southeast corner of Palmer
Addition to the Town of Estes Park and
monumented by a pin with cap number 6499;
Thence along the East line of said Palmer
Addition N00°19’37”W,415.80 feet to a point
on the South line of One Thousand Pines
Subdivision,also being the Northeast corner
of said Palmer Addition and monumented by a
pin with cap number 10385;
Thence along said South line of One Thousand
Pines Subdivision S89°05’57”E,832.69 feet to
a point being the Northwest corner of a
parcel described in Book 1043 at Page 431 of
the Larimer County Records and monumented by
a pin with cap number 532;
Thence along the boundary of said parcel
described in Book 1043 at Page 431 the
following two courses:S00°15’02”E,365.50
feet;
Thence S89°07’OO”E,299.23 feet to a point on
the East line of said NW of Section 31
monumented by a pin with cap number 10385;
Thence along said East line of the NWk of
Section 31 S00°47’14T1E,50.04 feet to the
POINT OF BEGINNING.
Described tract contains 8.29 acres.
SECTION 6:The Town of Estes Park,Colorado,hereby con
sents,pursuant to Section 37—45—136 (3.6)C.R.S.to the inclu
sion of lands described above into the Northern Colorado Water
Conservancy District and the Municipal Subdistrict,Northern
Colorado Water Conservancy District.
SECTION 7:This Ordinance shall take effect and be enforced
thirty (30)days after its adaption and publication.
