ORDINANCE 23-88
AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE PLACEMENT OF A
PUBLIC PURPOSE SIGN
WHEREAS,a request has been made by the Estes Park Medical
Center for the placement of two (2)signs;and
WHEREAS,the Board of Trustees by this ordinance has de
termined that said signs are for a public purpose;and
WHEREAS,Section 17.66.190 (b)(5)authorizes the placement
of said sign.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That the signs requested by the Estes Park
Medical Center are hereby authorized under the provisions of
section 17.66.190 (b)(5);one sign to be placed at the corner of
Prospect and Stanley Avenues,and one sign to be placed at the
corner of U.S.Highway 36 and Stanley Avenue,within the Town of
Estes Park.Said signs are hereby authorized to be placed in
accordance with the plans and specifications attached hereto as
Exhibit “A”and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2.The Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado,herewith finds,determines and designates that this
ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace,health and safety,to allow the signs to be placed
immediately;and whereas,in the opinion of the Board of Trustees
an emergency exists,this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force immediately after its passage,adoption and signature of
the Mayor.
