ORDINANCE 22—88
AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE PLACEMENT OF A
PUBLIC PURPOSE SIGN
WHEREAS,a request has been made by Ski Estes Park for the
placement of a sign;and
WHEREAS,the Board of Trustees by this ordinance has de
termined that said sign is for a public purpose;and
WHEREAS,Section 17.66.190 (b)(5)authorizes the placement
of said sign.-
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That the sign requested by Ski Estes Park is
hereby authorized from October 28,1988 —November 28,1988 under
the provisions of Section 17.66.190 (b)(5),to be placed between
the two (2)entrances of the Post Office.Said sign is hereby
authorized to be placed in accordance with the plans and
specifications attached hereto as Exhibit “A”and incorporated
herein by reference.
Section 2.The Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado,herewith finds,determines and designates that this
ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace,health and safety,to allow the sign to be placed
immediately;and whereas,in the opinion of the Board of Trustees
an emergency exists,this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force immediately after its passage,adoption and signature of
the Mayor.
