0CORDINANCEtD.5-89ANORDINANCEAPP3)VINGSIQ’AGEONAPORTABLEflGCEW3DThPURSUANT‘10SECTION17.66.190WHEREAS,Section17.66.190,(b)(5),oftheMunicipalCodeoftheThwnofEstesParkprovidesthatsignsspecificallyauthorizedforapublicparposebyordinanceshallnotrecpiireasignpermitorasignpermitfee;andWHEREAS,saidsignsnaybeofanytype,nunther,area,heightabovegrade,locationoriuindnationauthorizedbysaidordinance;andWHEREAS,theTownofEstesParkdesirestoplacesignageuponaportableticketboothforthepurposeofnotifyingthepublicastotheavailabilityofticketstobepirthasedforspecialeventssponsoredorapprovedbytheTownofEstesPark;andWHEREAS,theBoardofTrusteesoftheTajnofEstesParkdesirestoapprovesaidsignagebythisOrdinance.BEITORDAINEDBYTHEflRDOFTRUSTEESOFTHE9ThcNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:Section1.TheREOSpeedwagonownedandoperatedbytheTownofEstesParkasaportableticketbooth,hereinafterreferredftasthePortableTicketBooth,shailbeailowedtohaveattachedtothesidesthereof,twobulletinboardsignswithinterchangeableletters,nottoexceedanaximumsignareaofthirty-tc(32)uarefeetpersign.Section2.Saidsignsmaybeeitherindirectlyorinternallyilluminated.Section3.SaidsignsnaybedesignedtobedetachedfranthePortableTicketBoothandplacednexttooradjacenttothePortableTicketBoothforviewingbythepublic.Section4.ThePortableTicketBoothmaycontainsponsorshipflagsofthoseorganizationssponsoringeventsatStanleyParkorotherTownsponsoredorapprovedevents.Section5.TheBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesPark,Colorado,herewithfinds,determinesanddesignatesthatthisordinanceisnecessarytor 00 0Ctheimmediatepreservationofthepublicpeace,healthandsafety,toallowthesignstobeplacedtanediately;andwhereas,intheopinionoftheBoardofTrusteesanemergencyexists,thisordinanceshalltakeeffectandbeinforcetm-ie&iatelyafteritspassage,adoptionandsignatureoftheMayor.PASSEDANDADOfl’EDBYTHEBmRDOFThUSEESOF€‘IGNOFESEESPARK,COLORADO,TICS3t(DAYOF______________,1989.‘ltWNOFFSTFSPAPJCBy:___________________________________YORA’FIYEST:ThwnClerkIherebycertifythattheaboveOrdinancewasintroducedandreadatameetingoftheBoardofThusteesonthe%<dayof/2L.ccf,1989,andpublishedinanewspaperofgeneralcirculationintheTawnofEstesPark,Colorado,ontheidayof/)7sj,1989.ITownClerk—2— 00
