Home My WebLink AboutORDINANCE 07-93C0ORDINANCENO.7-93ANORDINANCEAMENDINGSECTION14.08.030OFTHEMUNICIPALCODEOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARECOLORADO,WITHREGARDTOELECTRICANDBARBEDWIREFENCESWHEREAS,theBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesParkhavedeterminedthatitisnecessarytoamendSection14.08.030oftheMunicipalCodeoftheTownofEstesPark.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITORDAINEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO.Section1.Section14.08.030isherebyamendedtoreadasfollows:14.08.030ElectricandBarbedWireFences.A.NoelectricallychargedfencesshallbeinstalledonanypropertywithintheTownofEstesPark,Colorado.B.Nobarbedwire,razorwireorothersharppointedfencesshallbeinstalledonanypropertywithintheTownofEstesPark,Colorado,subjecttothefollowingconditions:1.IntheCO,CDandI—izones,barbedwiremaybeinstallediftheloweststrandofbarbedwireismaintainedatleastsixfeetabovetheadjoininggroundleveloutsidethefence,nomorethanthreestrandsofbarbedwireareusedandpriortoconstructionofsaidfence,apermitmustbeobtainedfromtheBuildingInspectoroftheTownofEstesPark,Colorado.2.Onanypropertyonwhichapermithasbeenissuedtokeepandmaintainhorses,pursuanttotheprovisionsof7.08.070oftheMunicipalCode,abarbedwirefencemaybebuiltandmaintainedsolongassaidfenceisatleast50feetfromtheoutsideboundarylineoftheproperty.C.AnyelectricfenceexistingwithintheTownofEstesPark,ColoradoontheeffectivedateofthisOrdinanceshallberemovedonorbeforethefirstdayofJuly,1998.Section2.ThisOrdinanceshalltakeeffectandbeenforcedthirty(30)daysafteritsadoptionandpublication. 00 CpPASSEDANDADOPTEDBYTIEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADOTHIS7DAYOF$L-tc,1993.TOWNOFESTESPARKBy:_______MayorATTEST:-‘,&L6-JTownClerkIherebycertifythattheaboveOrdinancewasintroducedandreadatameetingoftheBoardofTrusteesontheYdayof_________1993,andpublishedinanewspaperofgeneralirculationintheTownofEstesPark,Coloradoonthe//4dayof)JxvJ,1993.c.77L%utTownClerkn—‘.— 00
