o0ORDINANCENO.18-95ANORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER14OFTHEMUNICIPALCODEOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO,THESANEPERTAININGTOTHEABATEMENTOFDANGEROUSBUILDINGSTHROUGHTHEADOPTIONOFTHEUNIFORMCODEFORTHEABATEMENTOFDANGEROUSBUILDINGS,1994EDITIONWHEREAS,onthe12thdayofSeptember,1995,theBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesParkheldaPublicHearingontheadoptionofthe1994editionoftheUniformCodefortheAbatementofDangerousBuildings;andWHEREAS,noticeofsaidhearingwaspublishedasprovidedinSection31—16—203,C.R.S.;andWHEREAS,priortotheadoptionoftheUniformCodefortheAbatementofDangerousBuildings,1994edition,byreference,copiesofsaidCodewerepresentedtotheBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesPark.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITORDAINEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:Section1.ThatSection14.48.010oftheMunicipalCodeoftheTownofEstesPark,Colorado,shallbeamendedtoreadasfollows:14.48.010UniformCodefortheAbatementofDangerousBuildings.1994--Adopted.TheUniformCodefortheAbatementofDangerousBuildings,1994edition,issuedbytheInternationalConferenceofBuildingOfficials,5360SouthWorkmanMillRoad,Whittier,California90601,isamendedandadoptedbythisreferenceasaprimarycode,andincorporatedinthischapterasifsetoutatlength.Section2.section14.48.040isherebyaddedtoreadasfollows:14.48.040Damages.NeithertheTown’sBuildingOfficial,TownEngineer,noranyotheremployeeoragentoftheTownofEstesPark,noranyvolunteeractingonbehalfoftheTownofEstesParkshallbeliableindamagesforanyactand/oromissionbysaidpersonpursuanttothedutiesandtheenforcementoftheprovisionsoftheUniformBuildingCodefortheAbatementofDangerousBuildings.Section3.ThisOrdinanceshalltakeeffectandbeenforcedthirty(30)daysafteritsadoptionandsubsequentpublication.—1— 00 00PASSEDANDADOPTEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO,THIS/0ZaDAYOF_______________,1995.TOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADOBy:_____MayorATTEST:TownClerkIherebycertifythattheaboveordinancewasintroducedandreadatameetinoftheBoardofTrusteesonthe/&dayof_________________1995,andpublishedinanewspaperofgeneralpublicatigninthecpownofEstesPark,Colorado,onthe/.r-dayofflC1b2n,AaI,1995.—2— 00
