C&RESOLUTIONNO.5-91ARESOLUTIONOFTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADOAPPROVINGAVOLUNTARYBICYCLEREGISTRATIONPROGRAMWHEREAS,ithasbeenrecommendedtotheBoardofTrusteesbytheEstesParkPoliceDepartmentthatavoluntarybicycleregistrationprogrambeimplementedbytheTown;andWHEREAS,theBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesParkhasdeterminedthatitisinthebestinterestsoftheTowntoimplementandoperateavoluntarybicycleregistrationprogramforuseofthecitizensoftheTown;andWHEREAS,theBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesParkdesiresthroughthetermsandconditionsofthisResolutiontoimplementsaidvoluntarybicycleregistrationprogram.NOWTHEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:1.AvoluntarybicycleregistrationprogramisherebyimplementedbytheTownofEstesParktobeoperatedbytheEstesParkPoliceDepartment.2.AnypersonwhowishestoparticipateinthevoluntarybicycleregistrationprogrammayforaTwoDollar($2.00)licensefeeperbicycleregistersaidbicyclewiththeEstesParkPoliceDepartment.3.TheEstesParkPoliceDepartmentshallmaintainacross—referencefileofallregisteredbicycles.TheEstesParkPoliceDepartmentshallusesaidcross—referencefiletoattempttorecoverstolenorlostbicycles.4.Fiftycents($.50)ofthelicensefeeshallbepaidtoanypersondesignatedbytheEstesParkPoliceDepartmentasavendorofthelicensefee.5.TheEstesParkPoliceDepartmentshallmakeanynecessaryrulesandregulationstoimplementandoperatethevoluntarybicycleregistrationprogram.INTRODUCED,READANDPASSEDTHISo2%’,DAYOF1991.6’TOWNOFESTESPARK,By:______ATTEST:TownClerk 00
