RESOLUTION 4-91
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,REGARDING THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF SATELLITE LOCATIONS FOR THE
LICENSING OF DOGS
WHEREAS,Chapter 7.12 of the Municipal Code requires that all
dogs located within the Town of Estes Park shall be licensed;and
WHEREAS,Chapter 7.12 of the Municipal Code authorizes the
Town Clerk to sell and issue dog licenses;and
WHEREAS,the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park has
determined that in order to expedite the sale and processing of dog
licenses,it is necessary to establish satellite locations at local
veterinary offices,kennels,etc.for the sale of dog licenses;and
WHEREAS,the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park has
determined that it is necessary to establish more locations for the
sale and processing of dog licenses,pursuant to the tens and
conditions of this Resolution.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
1.All dog licenses set forth in Chapter 7.12 of the
Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park may be sold by local,
authorized veterinarians,kennels,etc.,who have obtained written
authorization from the Town Clerk for the sale and issuance of said
dog licenses.
2.Said dog licenses shall be sold and issued at the same
rate and in the same manner as provided in Chapter 7.12 of the
Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park by the authorized local
veterinarians,kennels,etc.
3.Said authorized local veterinarians,kennels,etc.shall
be entitled to retain One Dollar ($1.00)of the licensing fee for
the purpose of compensating them for the issuance and processing of
the dog licenses.
