A RESOLUTION TO REAPPROPRIATE THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK’S 1991
ENCUMBERED FUNDS TO THE 1992 BUDGET AND REAPPROPRIATE THE 1991
UNENCUMBERED ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO THE 1992 BUDGET.
WHEREAS,the Town of Estes Park’s accounting system
incorporates a purchase order system which encumbers the budget
when commitments are made;and
WHEREAS,encumbrances that were not liquidated in calendar
year 1991 are reserved from the Ending Fund Balances;and
WHEREAS,the Town of Estes Park intends to carry forward to
1992 the encumbered budget authority;and
WHEREAS,there were excess Platte River Economic Development
Funds not expended in 1991 for which there has been a request to
reappropriate to the 1992 budget.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OP THE
TOWN OP ESTES PARK,COLORADO,THAT:
1.The following 1992 budgets be amended to carry
forward the 1991 encumbered funds:

2.The reservation of the 1991 Ending Fund Balances is the
funding source for the budget amendments.
3.The Community Development Department be increased by
$4,036 for Economic Development which will increase the 1992
General Fund Budget to $6,155,496.
4.The unexpended 1991 Fund Balance is the funding source
for this budget amendment.
