RESOLUTION 24-93
WHEREAS,the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park
recognizes the importance of tourism to the Colorado economy;and
WHEREAS,the Board believes it is in the best interest of
Colorado to have a centralized system of attracting visitors to
Colorado;and
WHEREAS,the Board believes that the Colorado Tourism Board
and the Colorado Tourism Tax is an effective method to market
Colorado to visitors throughout the world.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
1.That the Board does hereby officially endorse the
“Tourism Is Everybody’s Business”Campaign to reinstate the
Colorado Tourism Tax and continue the work of the Colorado Tourism
Board.
