RESOLUTION 1-94
WHEREAS,a proposal has been presented to the Board of
Trustees by the Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority requesting the
Board modify the Estes Park Downtown Redevelopment Program (Plan)
by amending plans,guidelines and proposals for land uses and
development in the Stanley Historic District;and
WHEREAS,the Board has been advised by the Town Attorney and
has determined that the proposed modification (third amendment)
constitutes a substantial change to the Plan,as provided in the
Colorado Urban Renewal Law;and
WHEREAS,the Board hereby finds that,in accordance with the
Urban Renewal Law,it is necessary to submit such proposed
modification to the Estes Park Planning Commission for its review
and recommendation as to conformity with the Estes Park
Comprehensive Plan for the Town.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
1.The Board hereby finds that the proposed modification
substantially changes the Estes Park Downtown Redevelopment Program
(Plan).
2.In accordance with the Urban Renewal Law,this proposed
modification shall be submitted to the Planning Commission
effective January 18,1994.The Planning Commission shall
consider,review same,and make recommendations to,the Board
regarding the conformity of such modification with the general plan
for the development of the municipality as a whole.
3.A public hearing shall be held before the Board of
Trustees regarding such modification of the Plan on the 8th day of
February 1994,at 7:30 p.m.,in the Board Room (Room 103),170
MacGregor Avenue.
4.Notice of such hearing shall be provided in compliance
with the Urban Renewal Law.
