Home My WebLink AboutRESOLUTION 06-96o0RESOLUTION6-96WHEREAS,bytheStatutesoftheStateofColorado,the2nddayofApril,1996isfixedasthetimeforaregularmunicipalelectiontoelectaMayorandthreeTrustees;andWHEREAS,itisthedutyoftheBoardofTrusteestoprovidefortheholdingofsuchanelection;andWHEREAS,Section31—10—401C.R.S.1973,allowstheBoardofTrusteestodelegatetotheTownClerk,byResolution,theauthorityandresponsibilitytoappointtheJudgesofElection.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADOthataregularelectionofaMayorandthreeTrusteesshallbeheldonTuesday,April2,1996.BEITFURTHERRESOLVEDthattheonlypollingplaceshallbeintheMunicipalBuilding:AdministrativeOffices(forAbsent/EarlyvotingMarch18—29,1996),andRoom103oftheMunicipalBuilding(electiondayvoting),170MacGregorAvenue,EstesPark,Colorado;andthatthepollsonelectiondayshallbeopenfrom7:00a.m.—7:00p.m.BEITFURTHERRESOLVEDthatvotingmachinesshallbeusedintheMunicipalElectionandthattheTownClerkbeandisherebyauthorizedanddirectedtoperformallactsandfunctionsnecessaryfortheuseofsuchvotingmachinesasrequiredbythelawsoftheStateofColoradopertainingthereto.BEITFURTHERRESOLVEDthatpursuanttoSection31-10—401C.R.S.1973,theBoardofTrusteesdelegatestotheTownClerk,byResolution,theauthorityandresponsibilitytoappointtheJudges00 o000 C0ofElection.BEITFURTHERRESOLVEDthattheJudgesofElection,appointedbytheTownClerk,shallreceivefortheirservices,thesumofSeventy-FiveDollars($75.00)each.BEITFURTHERRESOLVEDthattheTownClerkbeauthorizedtogiveNoticeoftheElectionbypublicationasprovidedbylaw.BEITFURTHERRESOLVEDthattheTownClerkshall,attheexpenseoftheTown,arrangeforsuchmaterialsandsuppliesforsuchelectionasmaybenecessary.DATEDthis__________dayofLtCLkA.ct,19MayorATTEST:TownClerk0C o000
