Home My WebLink AboutRESOLUTION 27-9900RESOLUTIONNO.27-99BEINGARESOLUTIONESTABLISHINGATELEPHONEEXCHANGEACCESSFACILITYCHARGEANDAWIRELESSCOMMUNICATIONSACCESSCHARGEFORThELARIMEREMERGENCYTELEPHONEAUTHORITYEFFECTIVEJANUARY1,2000.WHEREAS,theLarimerEmergencyTelephoneAuthoritywascreatedpursuantto§29-11-101,etseq.,C.R.S.,byanIntergovernmentalAgreementConcerningtheImplementationofanE911”EmergencyTelephoneService,datedNovember14,1990,betweencertaingovernmentalentitieslocatedinLarimerCounty,Colorado;andWHEREAS,pursuanttotheaforesaidstatutoryauthorityandbyresolutionoftheTownofEstesParkonMay8,1990,andOrdinanceNo.4-98properlyadoptedbytheBoardofTrusteesonFebruary10,1998,theBoardofTrusteesisauthorizedtoraise,lower,orreestablishatelephoneexchangeaccessfacilitychargeandawirelesscommunicationsaccesschargetobeassessedtelephone(wirelineandwireless)serviceusersintheTownofEstesPark;andWHEREAS,theBoardofTrusteesdeemsthatreestablishingthetelephoneexchangeaccessfacilitychargeattherateofforty-fivecents($.45)permonthandthewirelesscommunicationsaccesschargeattherateofforty-fivecents($.45)permonthisnecessaryandappropriatetoadequatelyfundemergencytelephoneservicesintheTownofEstesPark;NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO,ASFOLLOWS:1.CommencingonJanuary1,2000,thetelephoneexchangeaccessfacilitychargeandthewirelesscommunicationsaccesschargeshalleachbereestablishedatforty-fivecents($.45)permonthperexchangeaccessfacilityorperwirelesscommunicationsaccess.2.TelephoneservicesuppliersprovidingtelephoneserviceintheTownofEstesParkareauthorizedtocollectthetelephoneexchangeaccessfacilitychargeinaccordancewith§29-11-101,etseq.,C.R.S.3.WirelesstelephoneservicesuppliersprovidingwirelesstelephoneserviceintheTownofEstesParkareauthorizedtocollectthewirelesscommunicationsaccesschargeinaccordancewith§29-11-100.5,etseq.,C.R.S. 00 00Uponmotiondulymade,secondedandcarried,theforegoingResolutionwasadoptedthis/.44dayof&chtttJ,1999.TOWNFSTESPARK,COLORADOMayorATTEST:cTownClerk 00
