RESOLUTION TO SET MILL LEVIES 24-00
A RESOLUTION LEVYING GENERAL PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE YEAR 2001,TO
HELP DEFRAY THE COSTS OF GOVERNMENT FOR THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO FOR THE 2000 BUDGET YEAR.
WHEREAS,the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park will adopt the
annual budget in accordance with the Local Government Budget Law on November 14,
2000;and
WHEREAS,the amount of money necessary to balance the budget for general
operating expenses is $215,592;and
WHEREAS,the 2000 net valuation for assessment for the Town of Estes Park
as certified by the County Assessor is $97,029,260.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
That for the purpose of meeting all general operating expenses of the Town of
Estes Park during the 2001 budget year,there is hereby levied a tax of 2.22193 mills
upon each dollar of the total valuation for assessment of all taxable property within the
Town for the year 2001.
That the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to immediately certify to
the County Commissioners of Larimer County,Colorado,the mill levies for the Town of
Estes Park as hereinabove determined and set.
ADOPTED this 14th day of November,2000.
