00RESOLUTIONNO.44-01LEVYINGGENERALPROPERTYTAXESFORTHEYEAR2002,TOHELPDEFRAYTHECOSTSOFGOVERNMENTFORTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADOFORTHE2002BUDGETYEAR.WHEREAS,theBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesParkadoptedtheannualbudgetinaccordancewiththeLocalGovernmentBudgetLawonNovember13,2001;andWHEREAS,theamountofmoneynecessarytobalancethebudgetforgeneraloperatingexpensesis$230,577;andWHEREAS,the2001netvaluationforassessmentfortheTownofEstesParkascertifiedbytheCountyAssessoris$121,653,880.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:ThatforthepurposeofmeetingallgeneraloperatingexpensesoftheTownofEstesParkduringthe2001budgetyear,thereisherebyleviedataxof1.892millsuponeachdollarofthetotalvaluationforassessmentofalltaxablepropertywithintheTownfortheyear2002.ThattheTownClerkisherebyauthorizedanddirectedtoimmediatelycertifytotheCountyCommissionersofLarimerCounty,Colorado,themillleviesfortheTownofEstesParkashereinabovedeterminedandset.ADOPTEDthis11thdayofDecember,2001.a47MayorATTEST:TownClerk 00
