Home My WebLink AboutRESOLUTION 13-0500RESOLUTIONNO.13-05WHEREAS,theBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesParkhasdeterminedthatitisinthebestinterestoftheTowntoadoptaResolutionallowingretailliquorstoresorliquor-licenseddrugstoresintheTownofEstesParktoconductalcoholicbeveragetastings;andWHEREAS,pursuanttocertainamendmentsmadetoChapter47ofTitle12,C.R.S.retailliquorstorelicenseesandliquor-licenseddrugstoresmaybeauthorizedtoconductalcoholicbeveragetastingssubjecttospecificlimitationssetforthintheaforesaidamendments;andWHEREAS,inorderforsuchtastingstobeauthorizedwithinmunicipalities,thelocallicensingauthoritymustconsenttotheapplicationofthestatutoryamendmentswithinitsjurisdiction;andWHEREAS,theBoardofTrusteesisthelocallicensingauthorityfortheTownofEstesParkand,inthatcapacity,desirestoauthorizetastingsatlicensedretailliquorstoresandliquor-licenseddrugstoreswithintheTown,subjecttothelimitationssetforthinthestatutoryamendmentsreferredtoherein.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO,ASFOLLOWS:1.PursuanttoSection12-47-301(10)(a),C.R.S.,theTownofEstesParkherebyauthorizesalcoholicbeveragetastingsforlicensedretailliquorstoresandliquor-licenseddrugstoreswithintheTown.2.TheTownshallnotrequireafurtherapplicationpriortoallowingretailliquorlicenseesorliquor-licenseddrugstorestoconductalcoholicbeveragetastings,andelectsnottoimposeadditionallimitationsonsuchtastingsbeyondthoselimitationssetforthinChapter47ofTitle12,CR5.PASSEDANDADOPTEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEEQFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO,THISDAYOFck,gc.2005.TOWNOFESTESPARKMayorProTemATTEST:TownClerk 00
