CCRESOLUTIONNO.09-08ESTABLISHINGASPECIALREVENUEFUNDFORFIRESERVICESFEEWHEREAS,theoperationoftheEstesParkVolunteerFireDepartmentiscurrentlyfundedthroughtheTown’sGeneralFund;andWHEREAS,beginninginMarchof2008,theTownhasreceivedsubscriptionfeesforfireservicefrompropertyresidentsandownerslocatedwithintheServiceAreaoftheEstesParkVolunteerFireDepartmentwithinunincorporatedLarimerCounty,Colorado;andWHEREAS,thesubscriptionfeesforfireservicewereauthorizedbythetermsandconditionsoftheLarimerCountyFireAgencyIntergovernmentalAgreementbetweentheTown,LarimerCounty,Colorado,andtheLarimerCountySheriffsOffice;andWHEREAS,itisthedesireoftheBoardofTrusteesoftheTowntoaccountforallrevenuesandexpendituresoftheFireDepartmentinaspecialrevenuefundseparatefromtheTown’sGeneralFund;andWHEREAS,itisthedesireoftheBoardofTrusteesthatallsubscriptionfeesforfireservicesbedepositedwithinthespecialrevenuefundtopartiallyfundtheoperationoftheEstesParkVolunteerFireDepartment.NOWTHEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:1.Thataspecialrevenuefundisherebycreatedandentitledthe‘FireServiceFund”.2.ThatsufficientrevenuesshallbetransferredfromtheTown’sGeneralFundtomeetallbudgetedexpendituresfortheEstesParkVolunteerFireDepartmentfor2008andallfutureyears.3.ThatallsubscriptionfeesforfireservicesreceivedbytheTownshallbedepositedintheFireServiceFund.4.ThattheFireServiceFundbesubjecttoapplicablebudgetary,appropriationandcontractreviewrequirementspreviouslyapprovedforallrevenuesandexpendituresassociatedwiththeEstesParkVolunteerFireDepartment(#101-2200)asmorespecificallysetforthintheTown’sGeneralFund. 00 CCINTRODUCED,READ,ANDPASSEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARKonthisl3ayof2008MayorT3wnClerk_ttteaaOfl 00
