00RESOLUTIONNO.03-11SUPPORTINGTHEGRANTAPPLICATIONFORALOCALPARKSANDOUTDOORRECREATIONPLANNINGGRANTFROMTHESTATEBOARDOFTHEGREATOUTDOORSCOLORADOFORTHEESTESPARKWILDLIFEWALKWHEREAS,theTownofEstesParkisrequesting$32,000fromGreatOutdoorsColoradotoplananinterpretivewildlifewalkbeginningattheConventionandVisitorsCenterandextendingalongaportionoftheLakeEstesTrail;andWHEREAS,GreatOutdoorsColoradorequiresthattheBoardofTrusteesandtheMayoroftheTownofEstesParktostatetheirsupportfortheGreatOutdoorsColoradograntapplicationfortheEstesParkWildlifeWalk.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTESSOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:1.TheBoardofTrusteesandtheMayoroftheTownofEstesParkstronglysupporttheapplicationtoGreatOutdoorsColoradofortheWildlifeWalk.2.TheBoardofTrusteesandtheMayoroftheTownofEstesParkacknowledgethatthegrantapplicationincludesmatchingfundswhichTownofEstesParkissolelyresponsibletoprovideifagrantisawarded.3.TheBoardofTrusteesandtheMayoroftheTownofEstesParkwillappropriatethosematchingfundsandauthorizestheexpenditureoffundsnecessarytomeetthetermsandobligationsofanygrantawarded.4.Thisresolutiontobeinfullforceandeffectfromandafteritspassageandapproval.PASSEDANDADOPTEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARKonthis____________dayofF€lJyucLu,2011.ATTEST:t6VJhClerkDPuT’f 00
