CE)CRESOLUTIONNO.02-12WHEREAS,bytheStatutesoftheStateofColorado,the3dayofApril,2012isfixedasthetimeforaregularmunicipalelectiontoelectthreeTrusteesandtheMayor.WHEREAS,itisthedutyoftheBoardofTrusteestoprovidefortheholdingofsuchanelection;andWHEREAS,itisthedecisionoftheTownBoardbytheadoptionofthisResolutiontoholdtheRegularMunicipalelectionofApril3,2012bymailballotpursuanttotheprovisionsofSection1-7.5-104C.R.S.;andWHEREAS,theTownBoardherebydeterminesthattheLarimerCountyClerkandRecorder’sOfficeshallconductthemailballotelectiononbehalfoftheTownofEstesPark;andNOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:1.ThatpursuanttotheprovisionsofSection1-7.5-104C.R.S.theMunicipalElectionofApril3,2012shallbeamailballotelectionconductedinconformancewiththeprovisionsofArticle7.5ofTitle1C.R.S.2.ThatScottDoyle,ClerkandRecorderofLarimerCounty,ColoradobeandisherebyappointedastheDesignatedElectionOfficialfortheTownofEstesParkfortheconductofthismailballotelection.3.ThattheMailBallotPlan,acopyofwhichisattachedheretoasExhibitA,befiledwiththeColoradoSecretaryofStatebytheDesignatedElectionOfficial.4.ThattheDesignatedElectionOfficialisherebyauthorizedtomakeanyrequestedchangesintheMailBallotPlanbytheColoradoSecretaryofState. 00 CD5.ThattheAgreementConcerningElectionServicesbetweentheLarimerCountyClerkandRecorderandtheTownofEstesPark,acopyofwhichisattachedheretoasExhibitB,isherebyapproved.6.ThattheTownClerkisherebydesignatedbytheBoardofTrusteestofixtheballotfortheRegularMunicipalElectiononApril3,2012andtransmitsaidballottitletotheDesignatedElectionOfficial.DATEDthis.Ndayof__________________________2012.TOWNOFESTESPARKVMayor•‘_‘..p0,r.TocçiClerkATTEST: ‘I •4.
