RESOLUTION40-19LEVYINGPROPERTYTAXESFORTHEYEAR2019TOHELPDEFRAYTHECOSTSOFGOVERNMENTFORTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADOFORTHE2020BUDGETYEAR.WHEREAS,theBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesParkwilladopttheannualbudgetinaccordancewiththeLocalGovernmentBudgetLawonDecember2,2019;andWHEREAS,theamountofmoneynecessarytobalancethebudgetforgeneraloperatingpurposesfrompropertytaxrevenueis$439,898;andWHEREAS,the2019valuationforassessmentfortheTownofEstesParkascertifiedbytheCountyAssessoris$241,437,131.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:ThatforthepurposeofmeetingallgeneraloperatingexpensesoftheTownofEstesParkduringthe2020budgetyear,thereisherebyleviedataxof1.822millsuponeachdollarofthetotalvaluationforassessmentofalltaxablepropertywithintheTownfortheyear2019.ThattheTownFinanceDirectorisherebyauthorizedanddirectedtoimmediatelycertifytotheCountyCommissionersofLarimerCounty,Colorado,themillleviesfortheTownofEstesParkashereinabovedeterminedandset,butasrecalculatedasneededuponreceiptofthefinalcertificationofvaluationfromtheLarimerCountyAssessor.DATEDthis2nddayofDecember,2019.ATTEST:T?3nClerkTOWNSPARKMayor
