RESOLUTION31-19SUPPORTINGCOLORADOPARKSANDWILDLIFEGRANTAPPLICATIONSFORFALLRIVERTRAILPROJECTWHEREAS,theTownofEstesParksupportsthegrantapplicationadministeredbyColoradoParksandWildlifefortheFallRiverTrailExtensionProject,andifawarded,theTownofEstesParkwillsupportconstructionandmaintenanceoftheproject;andWHEREAS,theTownofEstesParkisrequesting$250,000fromtheRecreationalTrailProgramgranttoextendtheFallRiverTrailfromacurrentterminusatapproximatelytheintersectionofFishHatcheryRoadandDavidDriveeastalongFishHatcheryRoadfora375-footsegment.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:1.TheEstesParkTownBoardsupportthisgrantapplicationandifawarded,supportsthecompletionoftheprojectandlong-termmaintenance;and2.ThisprojectwillbeunderthecontroloftheTownofEstesParkforatleast25years.3.Thisresolutiontobeinfullforceandeffectfromandafteritspassageandapproval.DATEDthis0dayof..,2019.TOWNOFESTESPARKIMayorATTEST:TqpClerk
