RESOLUTION04-19ColoradoDepartmentofTransportation(CDOT)ContractOLA3331001923WHEREAS,CDOTownsandmaintainsUSHighway36throughtheTownknownasElkhornAvenue;andWHEREAS,CDOTdesirestoresurfacea0.4milelongsegmentofElkhornAvenuebycompletingmilling,patching,paving,restripingandtrafficminimizationtoremedythedistressintheexistingpavementsurfacebetweenWondeMewAvenueandMoraineAvenue(the“Project”);andWHEREAS,CDOTagreestoprovide100%ofthefundingintheestimatedamountnottoexceedfourhundredthousanddollars($400,000)toreimbursetheTownforthedesignandconstructionoftheProject;andWHEREAS,theTownhasreviewedtheestimatedscopeandcostoftheworkandacceptstheresponsibilitytocompletetheProjectduringthe2019pavingseason(priortoOctober31,2019);andWHEREAS,theTown(withConsultantsupport)isadequatelystaffedandsuitablyequippedtomoreadvantageouslyperformtheProject.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:1.TheOutlineAgreement(OLA#331001923)betweentheTownofEstesParkandtheColoradoDepartmentofTransportationattachedheretoasExhibitAandincorporatedhereinbyreferenceisapprovedandtheTownagreestoconstructtheresurfacingimprovementstoElkhornAvenueasdescribedintheContract.DATEDthis©7(,TNdayof____________,2019.TOWNESPARKMayorATTEST:Tof3Clerk
