Home My WebLink AboutRESOLUTION 20-17CCRESOLUTION#20-17RESOLUTIONOFGOVERNINGBODYADOPTINGANDPROVIDINGFORSTANDARDSFORPROCUREMENT,BIDDINGANDCONTRACTAWARDSWHEREAS,TheTownofEstesPark,ofLarimerCounty,Coloradohasappliedforaloanand/orgranttobemadeorinsuredbytheUnitedStatesofAmericaactingthroughUSDA,RuralDevelopment(hereincalledtheGovernment)fortheconstructionoffacilitiestobeownedandoperatedbyTheTownofEstesParkandtheGovernment’sregulationsrequirethattheTownofEstesParkadoptstandards(a)relatingtotheconductofitsofficers,employees,andagentsincontractingandinexpendingloanand/orgrantfunds,and(b)establishingprocurementandcontractingprocedures;Now,ThereforeBeItResolvedThattheTownofEstesParkofLarimerCounty.ColoradodoesherebyadoptthestandardsofconductandprocurementproceduressetforthinthoseregulationsofUSDA,RuralDevelopmentappearinginTitle7,CodeofFederalRegulations,Section1942.18(J)Thru(K),providedhoweverthatinthoseinstanceswherefundsderivedfromloansmadeorinsuredby,orgrantsmadeby,theGovernmentarenotinvolved,priorconsentorapprovaloftheGovernmentasprovidedinsuchregulationsshallnotberequired.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,OFLARIMERCOUNTY,COLORADOthat:ThisresolutionisadoptedforthespecificpurposeoftheUSDA,RuralWaterdevelopmentprojects,this27’dayofJune,2017.TOWNOFESTESPARKMayorATTEST:-ToClerk
