A RESOLUTION DECLARING A VACANCY ON THE ESTES PARK TOWN BOARD OF
TRUSTEES AND APPROVE THE PROCESS TO FILL THE VACANCY
WHEREAS, Trustee Cindy Younglund has submitted her resignation as Trustee;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees hereby accepts the resignation with its thanks to
Trustee Younglund for her service during her term of office; and
WHEREAS, the Board determines that a vacancy exists for the office of Trustee of
the Town of Estes Park effective March 25, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO:
1. There is a vacancy, effective March 25, 2026, for the office of Trustee of the
Town of Estes Park based upon the resignation Trustee Younglund and
acceptance of said resignation by the Board of Trustees.
2. The Town Board establishes the candidate receiving the fourth highest votes
during the April 7, 2026 Municipal Election will be elected to a two-year term
beginning April 28, 2026 through April 23, 2030 to complete Trustee
Younglund's term.
